@nature_83g: Richard Dawkins says that religion is dangerous not because religious people are evil. Most religious people are kind and decent. The danger is that faith can make ordinary people believe they are doing something good... even when they are doing something terrible. If you believe something without evidence, then no argument, no fact and no criticism can change your mind. And history is full of people who committed terrible acts because they believed God wanted them to. Dawkins' point is not that religion always leads to evil.
