@designertouchesstyle: Thankful to discover the beauty of Butchart Gardens In British Colombia this week. This place was like living in a fairytale, so much beauty to take in and I am feeling thankful to get to see it with my own eyes. There is nothing quite like seeing Butchart Gardens in person — pictures never fully capture the scale, the scent of the blooms, or how lush and peaceful it feels walking through those paths. A transformed landscape: What makes it so unbelievable is its history — knowing that the jaw-dropping Sunken Garden was once a hollowed-out, rocky limestone quarry that Jennie Butchart transformed by hand over a century ago. What Makes an In-Person Visit Unforgettable? The Layered Textures & Color: Standing at the lookout above the Sunken Garden and taking in the layered maples, cascading ivies, and vibrant floral beds all at once is a total sensory overload. The Distinct Garden "Rooms": Wandering from the vibrant, fragrant Rose Garden with its winding archways into the tranquil, mossy shade of the Japanese Garden with its red bridges and trickling streams feels like stepping through different world. The Hidden Details: The dancing spray of the Ross Fountain, the quiet views out over Butchart Cove, and the gentle chime of the carillon bells ringing through the air make strolling through it feel completely magical. It really is one of those places that stays with you long after you leave! #creatorsearchinsights #Butchartgardens #victoriabc #travel #thankful

We went in the 70s. I’d love to go again.
