Why do you all keep saying this? I love you Mychal but you should understand better than most that death by suicide is not rational. If a person can die by suicide knowing their family will find them, there is no logic to it. Trey Reed hung himself from a tree with his own belt. Expressed suicidal ideation and a previous attempt to his girlfriend and grandmother. Kyle Basinga's family, after reviewing the investigation, accepts the determination of suicide by hanging. Tonea Nicole Miller's family accepts the determination. Robert L. Fuller bought the rope. They were returned to their families with no signs of trauma that you'd expect with an assault. They were young and strong. They would have fought for their lives. We have heard nothing from the families that would suggest a beating or injuries. While you all insist that a black person cannot die in this manner, we are letting young people right now slip through the cracks.
