Well. He had a CPO make his plastic socket and there’s a liner with a peg there, so not all on his own. Wooden legs are ok but very «dead» material which takes more effort to walk with than modern prosthetic feet. Cool gimmick though!

great idea there is only one issue, it's made from wood, yes it's cheap but wood would last too long, he should have put on plastic at the out layer to protect it from weather conditions have metal and rubber at the bottom like a shoe and that will help a lot for grip
