And it’s so odd how most brothers in historical manwhas don’t even have a love interest of their own! Oh but they give the FL plenty so their BROTHER can be weirdly jealous like?? What’s actually the point in making the brothers only care about protecting their sister? Why can’t they inspire for more? Why is their only goal in life to be a good brother and not an actual person of their own? Why are brothers either a horrible person or have no damn personality?! Atp I’m just annoyed, frustrated, and confused on why authors think people enjoy reading brothers with no complexity to them. Adding to that it’s also weird how they make the dad and son fight for the FL love?? Like the author can’t make a father and son show affection towards each other but CAN make them ONLY show love towards the FL? Bruh do these authors even have siblings?! I highly doubt that honestly.
