@drdavidabbasi: So what do you actually do when an eyelash grows the wrong way? That condition has a name: trichiasis. It happens when an eyelash grows inward toward the eye instead of outward, and it's more than just annoying, it can scratch your cornea every time you blink. The instinct to just pluck it out yourself is understandable, but it's not a real fix. The follicle is still there, and in a lot of cases the lash grows back the exact same way, sometimes worse. Repeated plucking can also irritate or damage the follicle over time. The actual treatments an ophthalmologist can offer include epilation with proper tools, electrolysis to destroy the follicle permanently, cryotherapy, or in more persistent or severe cases, a minor surgical correction. If it's a one-off stray lash, plucking it is fine.
