Squatters probably changed the locks trying to take the property. If they think its a squatter the cops would remove the homeowner and force them to civil court. Because squatters have more rights than the homeowner.

So guy goes through the window, neighbors call in concerned for guys property, cops come to check it out and guy gets mad about it. But now when his house gets broken into legitimately and he calls in the cops and they say We thought it was just you again. Then he’ll be mad at the cops for not doing their job.

I would bet a squatter changed the locks. The home owner then got in to repossess his property. The squatter then called police to say someone is broken into property. That would be very tricky.

The only reason he got away with talking to him like that because he’s white and he probably carries clout with his privilege, but if that had been a personal color, they’ve been slammed on the deck and handcuffed and didn’t need A sorted it out later so you tell me you can stand there and literally talk to a police officer like this even though you’re on your own property legally they will still arrest you. They will charge you with resisting at the least breaking and entering at the most or assault on the police officer and that’s the way it’s gonna go textbook. There’s no discussion and more than likely. If it had been a person of color they came up with guns drawn, and ask questions later.

Two genuine question directed specifically at the creator of this video: What is this "proper" procedures you mention? and what should the cops do if these people indeed had broken into another person's home? If I broke into someone's home, should I just tell the cops its my home and they should leave then? 🤷🏽♂️
