we’re using the term artificial intelligence a little liberally, but i get the point. if the idea is that any form of computing is artificial intelligence then there has to be some divide between 1. things that we understand entirely and encoded *our * intelligence into (we told the computer what to do every step of the way) and 2. a black box that have “learned” pieces of our intelligence but in the end in is non deterministic and will output a different “correct” response even when it receives the exactly the same input. i agree with the overall point though
