@shoebox.designs: Who knew that my favorite piece of decor would become enemy no 1 when I tried to decorate the living room of #shoeboxbk! I could not love my 1800s tapestry more, but the search for a rug that would complement (without competing) the age-worn hues almost took me out. Two unsuccessful rug purchases (and dozens of mockups) later, I found Jake Arnold’s collection with @luluandgeorgia and KNEW that the gorgeous deep green hue in the Chiltern rug was going to be lush, timeless, and a perfect match. My intuition was right, and this room finallllly started to fall into place as soon as it was installed. It even inspired me to extend the cozy vibes into the kitchen with a rug underneath my new-to-me farmhouse table…but more on that later.
