@carrotlaneofficial: I hear the same investing theses over and over: “This institution is going to adopt this token.” “This blockchain will become the backbone of the entire financial system.” “This is how we escape the matrix.” None of those things are an investing thesis. There is only one universal truth in markets: supply and demand. Look at what is actually happening today. Look at the demand that already exists. Then ask yourself: if that demand amplifies, where could it realistically take the price? Everything else is hope, hunches and, in some cases, complete la-la land. The biggest danger isn’t just being wrong. It’s the opportunity cost of sitting in an asset for years while everything else outperforms because you became emotionally attached to a story.
