@big.kemzi: Singaporean children will now receive nearly S$70,000 in direct government support as they grow up under a new package aimed at simplifying and strengthening financial assistance for parents. Speaking at his National Day Rally on Sunday, August 23, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said support will be made more equal, with every child receiving the same level of benefits regardless of birth order. The package includes a S$10,000 Baby Gift, MediSave and Child Development Account grants, S$2,000 in annual Child Credits from ages 1 to 16, Edusave top-ups, and another S$10,000 top-up to post-secondary education accounts at age 17. #Worldnews #News #singapore
