Wait, wait! Other people lived in the “building” and were forbidden from entering certain parts of the basement. This was not a single-family home, as portrayed in the movie. All I know is that if someone in my apartment building forbade me from going into “certain parts” of the basement, I’m 100% calling the authorities.
