I wrote a letter like this to my ex husband back in 2010 when we were still married and he was in prison. Finally told him that I was divorcing him and how everything he had done to me had hurt me and our daughter. Finally speaking as to how his actions had affected our lives and the consequences we were suffering due to his actions. I'll never forget the letter I received back from him telling me that he knows I didn't write or send that letter to him and blaming me for his actions. I was hoping he would finally take accountability and maybe apologize. Nope. And nope. He yet again found a way to invalidate my feelings and blame me for the entire situation. Some people will never take accountability, even from prison, knowing they've hurt and lost everyone that loved them. They will still find a way to try to continue to hurt you while blaming you for it at the same time.
