its not true. People fly to China via Emirates, Etihad, Qatar Airways, Ethiopian, Kenya Airways, Egypt Air and Turkish Airways all the time and their flight path all head eastwards immediarely upon takeoff

Every country has its own airspace, if you don’t have approval from them you can’t fly through their airspace, that’s what I know .😏
