I always thought his clear would be thin to save money. How are the paint jobs so cheap if he’s using that much clear coat? Super cheap brand of clear?

There is exceptions to the rule. Intercoats, candies and the likes.

a little dirty but 3 years 3 coats and I used to use a 1.3 head because that's what I had but that's a 1.4, and it sets in the sun 8 hours a day while it's in the work parking lot.
