Magneto would be such cool character if people stopped saying "Magneto was Right" and understood that while he has some points for holding certain views, his actions aren't justified. He's a powerful allegory showing that violent extremism and hatred fail to create true peace or safety. His violent actions gave humans a major reason to fear and hate mutants, which often caused the public to ignore the heroic deeds of the X-Men. He spoke openly about race superiority. His radical actions and militant philosophy are historically among the primary catalysts that drive humanity to create and fund the Sentinel program. He himself was one of the main reasons was humanity kept rejecting mutants or justifyng themselfs to use violence against them. Sure, mutant hatred existed before Magneto, but the point is that extremism doesn't fix anything and just makes things worst.
