unpopular opinion as someone who started with bronze age comics. We should recommend modern stories that tackle older plots and modernize them and then when they build the curiosity they will check out older stuff themselves. I feel like anything before the late 80s is going to scare away most new readers

that jed mackay moon knight book got me into comics and is also the reason why moon knight is my favourite character. jed mackay is such a good writer for moon knight and all his work with him is amazing

Recommending Dardevil is great but absolutes diabolical Marvel doesn’t reprint it 😭 there is an epic collection coming out but the first part is $80 . Great recs For All Seasons is my favorite Superman starter story and I’m glad I have that Transformers Deluxe
