I avoid polyester and nylon etc. I usually opt for natural fibers only. HOWEVER I make an exception for my Lola blankets. In terms of plastic leaching. I have eliminated plastic in my kitchen and my other bedding and some of my clothing, but the leaching from the blanket is so low level compared to the leaching of other products. Plastic is so ubiquitous at this point it is nearly impossible to avoid it all

But have you washed it? I heard some people say it doesn’t wash well. I’m torn on it as well because I’m a sucker for a good blanket. 😩

I bought a Lola blanket when they had a 50% off sale like 6 months ago. I have yet to take it out of the package bc I have dogs and cats and don’t want to ruin it. 😭
