Sad story, seen it before. Guess you would say it is just not realizing all that changes when kid(s) come along. Wife's problem was more not willing to sacrifice which kid(s) require. You'll never be #1 again. 🥺

That doesn’t “just happen”. Either she had post-partum, something triggered in her after the baby, or he was woefully neglectful and is leaving a large bit out. People don’t “just” fall apart. It’s burnout, mental health, or neglect by partner.
