why is m***** cases considered true crime and other crime documentaries ou tv shows or any content NOT true crime? why is robbery cases, italian mafia, cartels, corruption NOT considered true crime? not seen as a bad type of content to watch?

I adore true crime as an autistic male, Its so fascinating seeing the extremes of human experiences. I love Criminal Minds tv show too. I never ever give a thought to personal safety though. That’s absolutely male privilege though, It hurts my heart our sisters need to remain hyper vigilant for their own safety due to the cruelty of man ❤️
