@rpd.football: Passing Pattern Player 1 passes to Player 2, who moves off the cone to receive. Player 2 sets the ball back to Player 1 and immediately moves outside towards the gate. Player 1 plays the return pass into Player 2’s path. Player 2 drives forward through the gate with the ball. Player 2 then approaches Player 3 and repeats the exact same sequence: - Pass into Player 3. - Player 3 sets it back. - Player 3 moves outside towards the next gate. - Player 2 plays the return pass. - Player 3 drives through the gate. Rhythm: Pass → Set → Move outside → Return pass → Drive through gate → Repeat Progression – Double Bounce Pass Player 1 passes to Player 2, who moves off the cone to receive. Player 2 plays a bounce pass back to Player 1 and immediately moves outside towards the gate. Player 1 plays the ball back to Player 2 on the outside. Player 2 plays a second bounce pass back to Player 1 before accelerating towards and through the gate. Player 1 then plays the ball in front of the gate and into Player 2's path. Player 2 drives through the gate and collects the ball on the move, continuing forward towards Player 3. The same sequence is then repeated with Player 3. Progression rhythm: Pass → Set → Move outside → Pass → Set → Accelerate → Ball through gate → Collect on the move → Repeat Key Coaching Points - Movement happens immediately after the pass, don't stand and admire it. - Move off the cone to create a better angle to receive. - Quality and weight of the bounce pass. - Play the return ball into the player's path, not directly at their feet. - Accelerate towards and through the gate. - Collect the ball on the move rather than stopping to receive it. - Encourage communication and scanning before receiving. - As the players improve, increase the tempo and intensity while maintaining passing quality. The aim is to create a continuous flow of pass, move, combine and accelerate, encouraging players to move the ball quickly and immediately move again to support the next action. #GrassrootsFootball #girlsfootball #FootballDrills #PlayerDevelopment #FootballCoach
