You're mixing the tool we use to see with the object we're looking at. The neural processing happens inside the brain, the geometry maps to an objective external world. If reality was only internal, two different brains (no 2 brains are the same) would produce completely different spatial outputs, yet you can simply ask 2 people to draw a flower, and their hands will move through the physical space to create a matching image. The similarities prove they are living in an external reality, not just simply in their minds.

Humans would be foolish and selfish to push such a theory as truth. Stating that reality is a byproduct of our consciousness is highly ego centric and not supported by much evidence. In fact there is more evidence supporting the fact that reality is an exterior experience with physicality secondary to our neurology. We are not the creators of reality. We never have been. Reality is a universal and shared experience. Ancient civilizations built megoliths out of curiosity for the expansive universe. Not in any attempt to control the masses. The universe is still far to complex to boil down to the pseudo new age dogmatic view. Get this trash off my fyp.
