I'm #1 - 8 months doing all the papertrading, studying charts, mastering 2 strategies, only when consistent at 71% ish, I took propfirms challenges and started trading. Happy I took my time bc I witnessed some just jump and have quit. However I agree, there's no right or wrong. It's about how bad you want it.

I wish I was #1. When I give advice to new traders I always tell them to practice/paper trade first and when they get consistent on that THEN go to lives/prop firms. I was the opposite. I learned thru blown evals and emptied out live accounts, completely unnecessary money loss. I thought it was a get rich quick scheme so that’s why I did that SMH
