THIS is still gentle parenting. you set boundaries, gave options, and stuck to it. you told her to brush teeth she chose not to do it herself. so the other choice was you did it and stuck to it. said its time for bed and made her stay in bed. you didnt hit her or threaten her or name call. you held boundaries. thats gentle parenting, you did it without losing it on her. you can be in meltdown without traumatizing your kids. you did great. gentle parenting is just not being a shit to your kids. the "gentle" parenting others do is not gentle parenting its just not parenting.
