imo the primary difference here would be that he'd be in prison already and get little to no help. another thing, we'd see the same women defending her completely refuse to use the same arguments on him. assuming it even got this big in the first place, women would be saying "of course a man would do this," rather than throwing money to him due to the system failing him

Biggest difference is he was diagnosed schizophrenia in 2023 and he killed his brother in 2025. So as Lindsay was not diagnosed with schizophrenia or any psychotic disorder, the defense has to make a valid argument. I will be back with more info on why her trial was pushed out so far

Mathew Hurtgen ended and ate his brothers eyeball (YES REALLY) . He also killed the cat 🐈 (he set it on fire 🔥 🤔). it was not a planned event nor did he send anyone away to do the deed. He also still in a state of schizophrenia after the event. REGARDLESS, where where the men lining up to defend him? 🤔 PS - Mathew ended himself in jail soon after being committed. I think he agreed, he was ultimately responsible.

Lindsey Clancy was never diagnosed with psychosis, nor did any of the 8 different doctors she saw ever witness symptoms of psychosis. Starting with the theory that she absolutely had psychosis to begin with is misinformation

Men can’t involuntarily go into psychosis from the natural consequences of having a child. If a man goes into psychosis it’s because something was pre-existing (and therefore diagnosable and treatable young), or induced by the misuse of substances.
