Fallout raider gangs would be terrified of the player. A single guy wanders into your base that you thought was defendable and then they kill everyone and take everything. That’s something I liked about Fallout 4, the big raider gangs had terminals and as you wiped them out the surviving ones would write it down in their terminal. They notice you wiping other gangs out, and they’re scared

I only take their clothes if their clothes are nice (which is rare for me) so the most raiders will just find their buddies missing limbs bc I go for the feet

One of my favorite details of Fallout 4 is going into the big raider camps and the boss’s terminals include an entry about “yo there’s a fuckin maniac killing literally all the other gangs we gotta invest in more landmines”
