@amt.tutoring: Can you properly check an aircraft electrical circuit for continuity? 🔧⚡️ A continuity test confirms whether an uninterrupted electrical path exists between two points. Before testing: ✅ De-energize the circuit ✅ Select continuity/ resistance mode ✅ Verify the meter and test leads ✅ Place the probes at opposite ends of the circuit A very low resistance reading indicates continuity. An “OL” or infinite reading indicates an open circuit. It may look simple—but correctly using a multimeter is an essential aircraft maintenance skill and something every future A&P mechanic should be prepared to demonstrate during the FAA General Practical Exam.
