@tongtong9731: Do you know how massive a 200000m³ LNG cryogenic storage tank really is? Watch until the end—the scale may surprise you. This video was filmed inside a 200000m³ liquefied natural gas storage tank under construction. The inner tank shell is currently being erected, while loaders, cranes, and trucks can drive directly inside to support the work. Construction equipment that normally looks huge suddenly appears small in this enormous space. A large LNG tank is completely different from a conventional API 650 ambient-temperature storage tank. It is typically designed and constructed under API 620 and other cryogenic storage requirements, and must operate in an LNG environment of around -162°C. This places much higher requirements on inner tank materials, welding procedures, insulation systems, structural design, sealing, and quality control. Large LNG tanks usually consist of multiple systems, including a cryogenic inner tank, outer containment structure, insulation layers, bottom insulation system, and roof structure. In international projects, you may also see terms such as LNG Storage Tank, Cryogenic Storage Tank, Full Containment LNG Tank, API 620 Tank, and Low Temperature Storage Tank. Once you stand inside, it is difficult to think of it as just a “tank.” It feels more like a massive industrial building being constructed inside a steel containment system.
