I can’t help but wonder if Zelensky could face the same fate as Churchill. Churchill became the symbol of Britain’s survival during World War II, yet when the war ended, British voters chose someone else to lead the country into peacetime. Zelensky may ultimately be remembered as the leader Ukraine needed during its darkest hour, but if the war ends, Ukrainians may want a different kind of leadership for rebuilding the country and moving forward.

During WW2 Britain didn't hold elections, as Chruchill thought it wise to follow 1 line of planning and not divide the nation. At the end of the war elections occured again when it was safe. Are people really not gunna disagree with the actions of Churchill?

It's dangerous, careless and irresponsible to put people who are still in Ukraine in that position.(It's probably why pretty much no country allows elections during war) People in line at a voting booth are standing targets for Russian bombs.
