Unfortunately this definitely doesn’t apply to all Filipinos. It really depends on where you’re from on the Philippines. I’ve met a lot of people from Manila that were VERY uptight and had anger issues and all sorts of problems.

When i was a CNA, i worked with 3 Filipino nurses. They all had kids who were my age, so they treated me like their daughter. Every time we worked together, they would bring me homemade food or they’d go to cafeteria on their lunch break and bring me some food too. They rlly took care of me. Like even their husbands would drop off food for me as well.

And they bring in food! In high school I was skinny. Like skinny skinny. Every time I went to my Filipino friends house it was the same. “You are too skinny. You need to eat more. Sit down I fix you a plate.” The BEST food. She wouldn’t let me up until I ate a full plate. Even if I wasn’t really hungry. His mother was the most caring, sweetest woman you could ever meet. Just an angel. 😇

Omg my 1st son was born via emergency C-section, I was 9 centimeters for the doctor said his blood pressure was going down so we had to do it this Filipino nurse Mary got for sure me everything was going to be fine she was going to be there she was amazing I'm so happy she was with me the whole time and a few days afterwards it was great. the hospital closed a few yrs after and a bigger a opened up. 7rs later I am giving birth to my 2nd son...a nurse comes in...I say you remind me of the nurse I had during my 1st pregnancy...she left came back and said "Honey I checked, I was there with your 1st baby look!!!" I was so happy and felt so safe she was so happy and saidn"We are having another baby"
