👏👏 Depression cannot hit a moving target! I’ve been there than that. Body movement and lifting weights help me a lot with my mental health!

I used to wake up and go straight for my phone and scroll. It sucked the possible life out of my day and really set my off flat. I’ve recently started putting music on and then doing morning routine. It’s done wonders for my immediate mental health and makes my morning routine an unconscious breeze. 🥰

Being more intentional with your time, this shifted a lot for me. Intentionally setting time to do a hobby or read a book, anything that's not doomscrolling will make you feel more present and doing so is also giving yourself some self love. Even better if you can put it in your calender so it feels more serious.

Thank you for sharing. And well done 🙌 I also cured myself through changing my thinking; challenging the thoughts that told me I wasn’t enough; Positive Affirmations, self love; Louise Hay; movement; stopped living life according to everyone else’s opinions/ rules 💜

your right being active helps Alot.. I was 119kg and now I'm 90kg and what is a good feeling is not just being in shape but ppl I used to see when I was larger and then seeing their reaction to now that I'm physically fit

Congrats!! Serious question, is that much exposure to chlorine causing you anxiety? I can’t even dip my feet in a pool without my anxiety spiking and feeling like I’m on fire since filtering it out of my drinking water

I went to the pool for the first time today in an attempt to find movement that doesn't aggravate my back injury. I'm feeling pretty hopeful ☺️
