@nikki.mov: WOW!!! What a day! Our first-ever BLACKYARD Cookout was a success! It was so fun (and busy) and communal I barely even got to capture content but just know … a time was HAD and FOOD WAS ATE. With Labor Day right around the corner, I want to encourage you all to buy Black for your cookouts and end of summer events. Spending our money intentionally is one easy but important way to invest in and uplift our community. All of the brands we featured at the cookout are listed and tagged below AND you can get access directly to the website I made at the link in my bio for more details. REMEMBER: WE *ARE* THE COOKOUT!!!! THE BRANDS: @Sunbear — allll the cookout essentials from cups and plates to sternos to trash bags, they have it all! 🍽️ S&M Rental — the tables and chairs 🪑 Whitelock Community Farm — allllll the fresh produce 🥬🧅🫑🍆 804 Cattle Company — the ground beef 🥩🍔 Taste This — the catered dishes The Avenue Bakery — all of the baked goods 🍪 @Emblem Olive Oil — hands down best olive oil I’ve ever had 🫒 @BareSöl Spice Co. — low sodium soul food-inspired seasonings.
