Adding to the list, housing instability comes with renting. You’re at the whims of landlords who may sell the building, forcing a move, or raise the rent drastically. It never feels safe enough to fully become your home.

I am 39 and at one point when I was married owned a home but I have rented for the last 8 years and I don’t ever want to own again.. however I do agree with all of these downsides!
