If you’re gonna make any of my recipes at all, this must be the one. SAVE IT NOW PLZ… or else. You guys don’t understand how good this recipe is! This dish is inspired by one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Las Vegas called Lotus of Siam and this is my take on one of their signature dishes 🤭 ➡️ Recipe: Crispy Fish Sauce Garlic Prawns 🦐 2 lbs jumbo prawns 1 cup potato starch 3 tbsp garlic, finely minced 2 tbsp oyster sauce 2 tbsp brown sugar 1 tbsp fish sauce 1/2 tbsp oil 1/2 tsp ground black pepper Neutral oil for frying (2-3 cups) Cilantro leaves for garnish 1. Pure prawns carefully, leaving the shell hole and hanging off by the tail. Devein prawns. Wash and dry. 2. Prepare the sauce before frying the prawns. In a large pan, add a little oil then the minced garlic and stir until aromatic and slightly opaque. Do not brown the garlic. 3. Next ad in oyster sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and black pepper. Heat the sauce until it reaches a boil. Turn off the stove immediately and take it off the heat. 4. Coat the prawns in potato starch, generously, making sure that the shells are evenly coded as well. 5. Preheat oil to 350°F. Fry prawns for 2 minutes on each side or until crispy and cooked through. Strain fried prawns on paper towels to get rid of any excess oil. 6. In the same large pan, reheat the sauce if it’s completely cool down on high heat. Add all of the fried prawns over the sauce and toss until every thing is coated evenly. 7. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and enjoy! #shrimp #EasyRecipe #CookingHacks #asianfood
