Everytime one of these videos comes up on my FYP I get so proud of myself for pronouncing the word right before you even say it. 🥰 But I do have a leg up on the americans, being swedish and working with/owning icelandic horses with very icelandic names 😂

Nah, it's a lot of work + medium difficulty level. Definitely not low level. Cool language, though! How long has your husband been with you? If it's more than 5 years I'm side eyeing him for not already knowing Icelandic. Imo, everyone should always learn their partner's mother tongue. Whether they live in their country or not. I'm Dutch and learning Bulgarian for my boyfriend. Very difficult, but also cool language.
