tool? self regulation. this is coming from the frame of autism and cptsd..so dont take it too far..but yeah. I like to think and type so here I go..*to no one specific* learn about yourselves as much as possible. heal as much as possible. remove yourself from equations when figuring out answers unless it directly affects you. as parents i get that you are in the center, but you are not always exactly the center to them. you are safety and comfort and guidance. and i dont mean that rudely, from my own experience, I felt like adults that were unsure about something, I could not process it as fact and had to figure it out myself..and we can be great at reading micro expressions young too..so learning people lie and they dont even realize it..people are confusing. humans are confusing. i truly believe we as species will do better for people if you look at any disability. look at yourself. look at your disabled loved one if not yourself. find a way to connect with who THEY are. not what you want from them. to anyone reading..I do not know you. i do not know your life. this is only my train of thought to the question posted. go with love x. Ps. I have been sitting here sitting with this..still going to post it because I know my intentions are good. let's chat if something stirred in you x.
