Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. 2. Whisk pudding mix and milk together in a large bowl until thickened, 2 to 3 minutes. Gently mix sliced bananas into the thickened pudding; set aside. 3. Arrange vanilla wafers in an even layer in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. I always put the cake mix in a food processor with the cold butter and I give a couple pulses so you have butter in every part of the mix so it doesn’t leave dry pieces on the top
