….true that it doesn’t tell you much. I think it does tell you that women are much more likely to take that step towards divorce. The underlying assumption here that you’re making is that women are filing because men are lazy and don’t want to spend $385. But I think the more revealing aspect is the willingness to pursue divorce is much higher for women. Whether it be resilience or laziness, men are much less likely to pursue that avenue. That is objectively what the numbers say.
