@themovementparadigm: 7,000 steps may be enough to make a meaningful difference. 👣 We’ve all heard the “10,000 steps a day” goal. But newer research suggests you may not need to hit that number to see important health benefits. A 2025 systematic review and dose-response meta-analysis found that around 7,000 daily steps was associated with clinically meaningful improvements across several health outcomes. For many outcomes, benefits began to level off around that point. More movement can still be beneficial, but the added benefit may be smaller. So what does this mean for your daily movement? It may be less about chasing a perfect number and more about finding ways to move consistently throughout your day. And that brings us to a bigger question: Can 10 minutes of intense movement provide benefits similar to an hour of walking? We explore the research in our full video. #MovementParadigm #MovementHealth #HealthyAging
