@sunshinenate: For this total solar eclipse, I brought along the @touptekastro AE676C! The desert heat was tougher on the gear than I expected. A few pieces of equipment started having issues, but the AE676C kept running reliably and helped make the live broadcast to Spain possible. I was genuinely glad I had it with me. Beyond solar imaging, I’m also looking forward to trying it out on the Moon, planets, deep-sky targets, and night-sky time-lapses. For me, having a camera that performs reliably across different types of astrophotography really matters.
