@tiffanyartwork: This drawing was started in 2023 and set aside for years until it was finally completed last month, just before Athenaeums 34th Annual Juried Art Exhibit where it can now be seen. The Mountaintop came from a moment captured on the way down a hike I took with my sister up Bear Mountain in New York. This stunning view was almost missed, and the clouds seen were from the rain that started on the way up. We almost turned around but kept going and the rain stopped minutes later. While taking in this view, I was in awe of the complete range of colors all around me. I love turning these stunning fleeting moments in nature into art, and I hope they become a reminder of how beautiful the world around us can be. The Mountaintop, 24x30, colored pencil.
