As a blue-collar worker, I can attest that the men do mess around on the machinery quite often. I understand a lot of them are literally just playing and they are having a good time with each other, but the consequences can be very severe like this one. I truly feel like it was an accident. This is unfortunate on both ends.

Everyone calling this an accident (which technically it is an accident) doesn’t understand. He was purposely messing around, and on job sites with heavy machinery and equipment means you DON’T mess around. They literally teach you that :( an “accident” on job sites like this would mean not seeing someone, ect. Not intentionally messing around and looking anywhere other than where your machine is going. I wouldn’t call it an accident but he definitely didn’t mean to hurt his coworker it’s a super sad situation
