if you have 1.7 million and you take 4% to allow for growth and dips in the market that's $68,000 a year. sure you can live on it but you can't go to steak dinners first class vacations or drive nice vehicles. let's not forget supplemental health insurance.

dude. what do I LIVE ON while I am just growing money? what about medical insurance? who's paying my mortgage? do i just not eat or drive my car? I need a living wage until I start social security. People don't live for free while accounts just "grow".
