I mean the thing is though, it's not really jackie. alt says the same about johnny, it's just modeled off of them, and the game pulls this off so well. you humanize the engrams when they're really just very advanced code, johnny never got the chance to meet v and he never actually went through the character development that we see in the game. which is arguably worse in a way

The way he recites his own quotes is like he’s capable of understanding what you’re saying but can only reply with a limited vocabulary. When you say goodbye to his engram he quotes “Afterlife… see you there!” Like he’s acknowledging he’ll see you when you die

i’m still in my first run technically, just haven’t gone back, but the idea that sending jackie to someone other than his mom resulting in arguably worst outcome is insane to me.

Playing for the first time, as blind as possible. I sent him to Vik's cause his family shouldn't see him covered in blood like that. You mean to tell me that they dont just clean him up and send him home? Misty wouldn't do that for him? What???

I never sent him anywhere aside from mama Welles in any of my playthroughs, nowhere else felt right, that’s her son. It doesn’t matter how battered and beat he looked, that’s her son, sending him someplace else would he taking that closure away from her. He is/was a Valentino, he did not have the same bond we did with Vic, it just isn’t right.

I’ve actually never gotten to see that, I send Jackie to mama Welles every play through because i know she’d want to see her son, as his mother she gets to decide what to do with his body
