Doors are usually installed prior to flooring so they leave room for the depth of flooring. I would suggest a transition piece but it wouldn’t go with your amazing tile. I hate to say it but I would take it down and trim it. A little cheat is to install the trim on one side of the door. Holds it rigid and fixes one plain in place. Kind of makes it easier for one person to install. I am impressed with how well you are doing for a first timer.
