Both kids are displaying survival techniques. The sister is lying to gain favor with her and divert the abuse, and the son was so scared and angry that he felt he had to call 911. So sad.

ngl the sister pissed me off but i really can’t fault her. 1. she’s 5, and 2. she probably thought mom would go after her next so she was trying to be “helpful” to her, i don’t think she meant to intentionally throw her brother under the bus. I don’t like how people in the comments are acting like a kindergartener in an abusive household is trying to do anything other than survive. She panicked.
