Update on Choo Choo! He’s still alive! Drinking water, opening his eyes, and clear of parasites! Now we’re working on getting his vitals up. His red blood cell count is very low, so he’s had two blood transfusions. Thank God for everyone who donates without hesitation. I didn’t have time to announce the second transfusion, we had to give the vet the OK before fundraising for it. This wouldn’t have been possible without dozens of you donating at random hours of the night when I had no energy left to ask. Thank you for stepping up. He’s barely alive, but we bought him the time he needed to fight off the parasites, and he’s won that battle because you trusted our commitment to do everything we can. He’s on his way home now since the vet office is closing for the holiday. Please keep him in your prayers. The fight isn’t over. Donations are still needed. Choo Choo has an outstanding vet bill, and other animals need medications refilled. Our team also needs food and water.
