I did mine with a s475 a 3p BD manifold 4" downpipe to 5" straight pipe to a 3ft mitre cut 8" semi stack top all underneath my truck (bed stacks are not it) and have no issue with it being quite haha sucker is loud asf, anyways I say all that just to say I wouldn't be too certain that the manifold is the issue
