I’m slow when it comes to reading someone’s emotions and understanding what they’re trying to say, and at the end of the day, I end up receiving the most hurtful insult I’ve ever heard in my entire life. 🙂

One time my dad saw me and my boyfriend around middle school going out in our trick or treat outfits. They were full white sheets and I was wearing a t shirt and jean shorts under it but I was a teenage girl going through a fishnet legging identity crisis. He told me I was dressed like a prostitute and then my step mom laughed and said some stupid joke about tricks for treats and my dad laughed too. they told me I had to put pants on which I did but I was so upset they said that to me and ridiculed me like that, my boyfriend said he wished he could slap some sense in my dad for saying that but he was my dad so it was off the table lol. The next year trick or treating me and that same boyfriend went out and he was being so lame and I heard him say "this is so stupid why are we acting like kids doing this crap for cheap chocolate I could just buy" and he said it to himself really quiet while I was walking up to a house on my own while he was waiting in the street.

Like when he calls you fat in the middle of an argument while he’s skinny so you can’t even look at him the same way and you start to fall out of love with him when he constantly uses that remark while you actively work on loosing the weight
