@saitore_v: I just hopped on a call with a new client. Not for me. For my MENTEES. And this one is big 🔥 I was so tense before this call because this organization works at the highest levels. Government opportunities. Competitive proposals. Serious professionalism required. I had 15 minutes to prepare and then showed up 10 minutes late because I was so focused on preparing I lost track of time. The irony of a VA who teaches time management 😅 Here's how I approach connecting mentees with clients. I focus on three things. Fit and risk. We don't want to recommend someone who'll need replacing in two weeks. Skills, personality and work style all have to align. Confidentiality. When an organization handles sensitive information you need someone who understands discretion. We use tools like LastPass to keep logins secure. Systems and outcomes. We don't just recommend a VA who can triage emails. We recommend someone who knows what can be automated and what needs human attention. Someone who builds SOPs and uses their mental bandwidth for high value work. Virtually Versed Africa is growing beyond training. We're becoming the bridge between skilled VAs and the clients who need them. From bootcamp to career. That's what we're building. The client sent the job description. Research.
